With an Overtime victory last night vs the Blackhawks, the Detroit Red Wings advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals to face the Pittsburgh Penguins. The matchup will be the NHL's first Stanley Cup rematch since the Edmonton Oilers beat the New York Islanders in 1984 after losing to them the previous year. If history repeats itself Sid the Kid will bring home another professional championship to the city of Pittsburgh this year.
