Interesting Sports Fact
The Stanley Cup originally was only seven and a half inches tall. Today it is 35.5 inches tall and weighs over 15lbs. Each season all the members of the winning team of the Stanley Cup Playoffs are engraved into the trophy and it is easily one of the most recognizable trophies in sports.
