Lebron - a bad guy?

LeBron James has taken a little heat for his quick departure from the court after their game 6 loss to the Magic the other day and his absence from the media session following the game. As always, I think the media has completely blown this up and looked into it far too much! Would you rather have a guy who is competitive and hates to lose and as a result doesn't shake a guys hand who just beat him (LeBron James) or the type of guy that loses and then takes his jersey off on the court and proceeds to laugh and smile with members of the opposing team that just whipped your a$$ (Delonte West)? He should not be taking any heat for not shaking hands after the game.

I do think LeBron made a mistake in not showing to the press conference after the game, but i'll chaulk that up to immaturity. While he has played 6 NBA seasons, keep in mind he is still just 24 years of age and this is as far as he has gone in his career. You learn from your mistakes and this was a small mistake that he will learn from and not repeat. Being the face of the franchise you are burdened with having this role on the team and you must show after games you have won and games you have lost. Up to this point in his career he has seemingly made all the right moves and said all the right things, so this one slip up doesn't take him down a notch or even half a notch in my book. I don't think it should in yours or the medias either, no matter how much they want to find some source of negativety to feed off of when it comes to a guy who has done no wrong.

Cleveland, you better get him some help next season and show that you are willing to win now or else your Golden Child may be having some postseason press conferences (whether it be win or loss) in another city while your Cavaliers are waiting to see where they fall in the NBA Draft Lottery!
